Nick finally harvested a bunch of peppers and tomatoes — these are the last of the inaugural crops we planted in July. The tomatoes (Green Zebra, Black Krim, Celebrity) are inconsistent — some taste good, others are mediocre or bad. We’ll need to treat them differently next time . . .
As for the peppers, we pulled California Wonder and King of the North (bell peppers), Poblano, Shishito, Habanero, Hidalgo, Biquinho Red, Ring of Fire (Cayenne), and Bode Red. Bright, bold colors! Nick spent time today pickling and drying some of the harvest.
