The storage shed near our vegetable garden is no longer a storage shed anymore! My dad added a ceiling, so we’ve moved boxes up above and out of sight — it will sort of act as an attic since we have little storage space in our house. He also insulated the walls and installed the drywall, painted the walls, and laid the hardwood floor (extra boards my parents have had at their house for years, from when they redid their own floors). He’s in the process of framing the closet, and after that will add a table-height countertop next to the closet.

We plan to put a queen bed in here — the one that is currently in our guest bedroom, which will eventually turn into the baby’s room! This tiny garden cottage will be an additional space for occasional overnight guests, so we want to make it cozy.
